Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey have welcomed a baby girl! Nathan took to Instagram today to announce the happy news that Cara had given birth on Tuesday morning and that mum and baby were both doing well. Cara had been in hospital for several days and had been induced after being diagnosed with pre-eclampsia.

According to a source who spoke to The Sun, the newest member of the De La Hoyde-Massey clanwas born just after 5:45am today, Tuesday 28th July. In his Instagram video post, Nathan paid tribute to his wife, saying:
I just want to say, Cara you are a hero. Really, really emotional this morning - everything is good, Cara's doing great, the baby's doing great.
He went on to praise all mothers, saying:
I just want to say one thing - us blokes could never in a million years go through what women do, so every woman that gives birth hats off to you because I don't think us geezers have the pain threshold. So massive congratulations to Cara, you've done a fantastic job and the baby's great and Cara's great - welcome to the world, my little daughter.
Despite the worrying diagnosis of pre-eclampsia and the added stress of giving birth during the coronavirus crisis, Cara kept up her social media presence whilst she was in labour - posting a Primark ad yesterday captioned:
Here we go baby girl 💕4cm and feeling super comfy & relaxed in my @primark nightdress ✨#primark #ad #iworkwithprimark.

to which Cara replied ‘got 2 kids to feed’ with a thumbs up and crying laughing face. Iconic. The couple are yet to announce the name of their little girl, who has a big brother in 2-year-old Freddie-George.
