We may not be getting a new series of Love Island this summer – but it looks like some of last year’s Islanders are keen to do a bit of recoupling of their own. The only couple still together from last year’s series are Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague. But it looks like bombshell Maura Higgins and funnyman Chris Taylor could now be seeing each other.

The pair first sparked rumours of a romance in May, when Maura posted a throwback pic of them looking very cosy together on a night out – and fans went wild suggesting that they’d make a ‘great couple’. Now, Maura and Chris seem to have spent the whole weekend together – and Chris was spotted leaving Maura’s flat on Monday morning in the same clothes he was wearing the night before!
Whilst Maura’s representative has insisted that her relationship with Chris is purely platonic, an eyewitness who spoke to The Sun said:
Chris looked bleary-eyed but he definitely had a spring in his step. He skipped to his car.’ Meanwhile, another source has claimed that ‘Chris seems besotted. And now a lot of people who know them won't be shocked that it seems to have grown into something more.
Who has Maura Higgins dated?
Maura was one of the bombshells on last year’s series of Love Island – and initially made a beeline for boxer Tommy Fury, but he couldn’t be tempted away from Molly-Mae. Maura went on to couple up with Tom Walker and Marvin Brooks – although these relationships didn’t go anywhere. She then got into a friendship couple with Chris before getting together with Curtis Pritchard.
Maura and Curtis stayed together for eight months outside of the villa before eventually splitting at the end of February after struggling to find time for each other. She was rumoured to have been more than friends with her Dancing On Ice partner Alexander Demetriou – but both Maura and Alex have strongly denied this.
