Last year’s series of the UKs successful summer dating show brought many apparently hopeful couples onto our screens and into the public eye. However despite the proud and sincere acclamations, the watershed moments and the romance in the villa, not one of these couples have stood the test of time, or even the test of a year for that matter.

One couple that we were sure would beat all odds would be our 2018 Love Island favourites Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer. But following their victory from the series it appears the two have grown apart, yet still clinging to the title of “friends”.
After just a few weeks from their official split, Dani has since been captured getting cosy with ex, Sammy Kimmence, on the beach and under the sun. The pair posted on Instagram to celebrate the event and thus provided the signal of a new “official” relationship according to general social media etiquette.
Prior to this, the pair were caught kissing passionately on a night out in Chelsea and it seems many fans are eager to hop aboard the new love-train, offering words of support for nation’s treasure, Dani.
One fan wrote, “Your happiness is shining through! Good on you.” Another source later added, “Dani you better live your best life doing what you love best and if Sammy makes you happy that’s it.”
