This week saw the end of another Love Island couple, as Demi Jones and Luke Mabbott became one of the first Winter Islander couples to call it a day. After deciding to spend lockdown apart, it seems that things fizzled out between the Islanders as they failed to keep the spark going.

Now, Demi has spoken out for the first time about what really went on. She told the Daily Mail:
With lockdown, it drove us apart and we live so far away from each other. I feel like there wasn't a lot of effort made with communication, so we drifted as a result. It's a shame and bad timing.
Ruling out a reunion with Justin Bieber lookalike Luke, she said:
I feel like the ship has sailed now due to the way it was handled. I feel like we were supposed to be honeymoon phase, I'd text him often but that wasn't really reciprocated. He is a lovely boy. I want to see him when this is all over though as there's no bad blood there, we'll be fine. Everyone is being kind and supportive.
Meanwhile, Demi has been keeping busy during the lockdown as she’s launched not one but two new business ventures! The first is a set of vegan lip-plumping kits with Project Lip and the second is her very own unisex loungewear brand, Demi Lounge, which is all about uplifting girls and making them feel good.
Demi said:
We've been working on Demi Lounge since I came out of the villa, it's all my own. As loungewear has been doing really well, I wanted to create a collection for girls to enjoy and feel uplifted, even though it is unisex. It's really comfortable as well. People who know me know that I'm really loud, so we have some cute slogan tees which emulate my personality.
