Love Island, the nation’s most-watched reality TV show, features a bunch of attractive singles thrown together in a Majorcan villa in a bid to find love, win over the public and then snag the £50,000 prize fund.

But this year’s series has faced unprecedented levels of backlash as contestants have been deemed catty alongside copious amounts of Ofcom reports for damaging behaviours such as gaslighting in the villa.
Francesca Allen, a 23-year-old store manager, entered the series as a bombshell mid-way through the series and divulged that other girls were less welcoming than she had hoped but wished she had spoken up at the time.
“I am a too laid back person, I should have voiced it to the girls that I’m feeling left out and things like that… when I didn’t, I sort of stayed quiet. I had Joanna and Belle and they are lovely.”
Moreover, island original, Amy Hart, ended her time in the villa early following a rough on-screen break-up with former flame, Curtis Pritchard. In an interview with last year’s contestant, Alex George, she also revealed she is disappointed in the other girls.
