Although Siânnise Fudge and Luke Trotman gave them a good run for their money, Paige Turley and Finnley Tapp were the indisputable winners of Winter Love Island this year. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing for Paige and Finn, as Finnley has admitted that he argued with the show’s producers when they implied he’d been unfaithful to Paige.

Paige was not happy with Finn after the infamous ‘News Splash’ task, also known as the headlines challenge – which sees Islanders forced to guess which of them are being referred to in various real-life tabloid headlines. She worried he’d been unfaithful when one read ‘Casa Amor causes Callum, Finn, and Nas' head to turn on tonight's Love Island’.
Whilst Nas and Callum’s heads did indeed turn in Casa Amor, Finn stayed totally loyal to Paige throughout. The headline was apparently making a reference to Finn speaking to Natalia in a trailer for the first Casa Amor episode. However, the producers’ choice of headline cast doubts on Finn’s loyalty.
Fans were outraged by the drama at the time – and it turns out they weren’t the only ones, as Finn has admitted he was also annoyed by it:
If I’m honest, I had a few little tiffs with the producers just because I was angry, because I was just like… yeah, it was a shame because that could have affected me and Paige, you know?.
Luckily, Finn managed to convince Paige that he had indeed stayed loyal to her – and now their relationship couldn’t be stronger. They recently moved into a luxury pad in Manchester together and they’ve already started talking seriously about getting engaged and having babies in the not-too-distant future…
