Through the years, the cast of Friendshas had its share of ups and downs in their careers. And all of them have carved a niche for themselves in acting. Mathew Perry is the first of the group to pass away, and he was only 54. Here's an update on what happened to him and what the others are up to now.
Matthew Perry
Chandler Bing’s funny one-liners and sarcasm made anyone who watched Friends laugh out loud. After battling addiction for years, Perry spent much of his time helping other people undergoing the same problems. He also starred in numerous Hollywood flicks such as 17 Again, and The Whole Nine Yards.
However, on Saturday 28 October, he was found dead at his LA home. His body was found in the hot tub by firefighters - he had died before they arrived on the scene. According to a statement released by the LAFD:
The patient was found by a bystander who had re-positioned the victim where the head was out of water.
No illicit substances were found on the property and so far, there are no signs of foul play. However, the investigation is ongoing and the news has left fans broken hearted.
Jennifer Aniston
Jen Aniston, who plays the fashionista Rachel Green, has seen tremendous growth, both for her character and outside the show. She has delivered memorable performances that topped the box office, such as Horrible Bosses and Cake. She is perhaps the most loved ‘friend’ out there.
Courtney Cox
Courtney Cox, who plays the germaphobe Monica Geller, found her space in television even after Friends ended. She went on to headline the hit-show Cougar Town and even directed a couple of episodes of the show. The presently divorced actress co-parents her daughter Coco.
Matt LeBlanc
Joey may not share food, but he shares some amazing television content. Matt went on to star in a couple of shows such as Joey, Man With A Plan, and Episodes. He even won a Golden Globe in 2012 for his role in Episodes.
Lisa Kudrow
Lisa Kudrow’s kooky-sweet Phoebe Buffay is perhaps the most memorable character on Friends. She has been featured in many movies and shows after Friends. Be it The Comeback, The Girl On The Train, or Lucky Numbers, she has given some notable performances.
David Schwimmer
Schwimmer’s Ross Geller was an iconic character alright. After always finding himself in difficult situations, Ross always entertained the audience. With amazing performances in Madagascar, and People Vs. OJ Simpson, he has done well for himself.
