So, what could be better than to travel back in time by binge-watching your childhood series on rainy Sundays? Here are 4 legendary series from the 2000s that you'll love to rediscover.

Lost

Lost is the perfect example of the 2000s series genre. Broadcast between 2004 and 2010 and including 6 seasons, Lost has taken us on a journey like no other and has, with certainty, marked TV history. The story begins with a plane crash on a mysterious island in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, and it ends by taking us into a completely supernatural world. With a small cast of actors such as Evangeline Lilly, Ian Somerhalder, Henry Ian Cusick or Emilie de Ravin, the series has captivated millions of viewers and still keeps its share of mysteries.

With each rewatch, you'll discover never-seen-before details, so keep on watching! Lost is available on Disney+.

Smallville

Which children of the 80s and 90s don't know Smallville? The series that tells the story of the Man of Steel's youth is a classic and must be seen again and again. Broadcast between 2001 and 2011, it allows us to discover Clark Kent's past before he became the superhero created by DC Comics, that we all know: which is the one and only Superman.

Although, for some, it was nothing but a series for teenagers, Smallville remains one of the first superhero series and an absolute legendary work. It can be found on Amazon Prime Video.

Prison Break

If you haven't yet discovered the adventures of Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows, you need to watch Prison Break right away. The work is an absolute must-see series of the 2000s. Broadcast between 2005 and 2009, Prison Break has not aged a bit. Although it returned in 2017 for a fifth season of nine episodes, we do not advise you to linger on it, be content with the first four excellent ones.

Whether in Fox River, in the federal prison of Sona in Panama or during an intense run, accompanied by his best friends or worst enemies, our main character offers us exquisite adventures. And even those we hate the most (except T-Bag) become endearing. Prison Break is available on Disney+.

The Wire

Considered as one of the best series of all time, The Wire is worth watching again and again. The super-realistic series with a documentary feel, which first aired in 2005, plunges us into the heart of a criminal Baltimore and a completely impotent police system. It marks the beginning now famous actors' careers such as Michael K. Williams, Idris Elba or Michael B. Jordan, the series is also a relevant portrait of society and certainly enters the very select list of 'classics'.

Rest assured that, if you have never watched The Wire, you will quickly become addicted to it. The series is available on Amazon Prime Video.
