Emotion exit
And in a surprising new emotional exit, A Place in the Sun presenter was the one to leave the show. The second eviction came too soon after the first one – where Charlene White got evicted – that took place two days ago.
An emotional Scarlette hugged every contestant before bidding her goodbye. Babatúndé looked particularly very emotional as the two had formed a sweet friendship. Even the hosts agreed that she will be missed, reported Digital Spy. Ant said:
You were a very positive force in camp. Believe me, they are going to miss you.
On being asked about Scralette’s opinion on who could be the potential winner, she said:
It's so tough because they are all incredible.
But I think me and Baba had a really good brotherly-sisterly bond. So, I feel like he's got to do it for the two of us now so I'm going to be doing it for him.
It’s a race row
Meanwhile, viewers have been left fuming over another black woman leaving the show. Manchester Evening News confirmed that viewers believe it’s the ‘racist Britain’ that has caused Scralette’s exit. Some of them wrote on Twitter:
Racist Britain strikes again.
The British public are racist. Nothing more to it.
The voting clearly shows that the public are racist. Voting out the first 2 black women from camp.
While another two added:
People are so obviously racist. The first two people to leave are black women and in the odds one of the people most likely to leave, is a black man.
I'm actually sick of this, there's never been a black winner either. this was supposed to be the year, with Scarlette.
Confused about how Matt Hancock is still in the running another two said:
Scarlette Douglas should've won I'm A Celebrity 2022, not eliminated before Matt Hancock.
You mfs voted for Matt Hancock over Scarlette I swear the British public shouldn’t be allowed to vote for anything.
