No wobbling
According to Mirror, the comedian was given the task of walking to the end of a wobbling platform and facing dizzying heights at 32 storeys up. The challenge was called ‘The Ledge’ and after the hosts Ant and Dec made the rules of the task clear the three waited for 45 minutes before beginning the task as Babatunde freaked out.
Reportedly, Jill and Charlene completed the task successfully but Babatunde was seen shuffling along his plank and then walking back to the roof. The TV bosses then examined the platforms for any issues but irrespective of whatever happened, the comedian didn’t complete the task. An onlooker said:
Babatunde looked nervous before the challenge began and he never got going.
He shuffled and stopped and left Charlene out on her ledge for several minutes. After that Jill wasted no time and got straight out to join her.
Fear of heights, maybe
Before going on the platform, the Gogglebox star was seen in dramatic poses like having his head in his hands. His gestures and body language indicated he was afraid of heights and maybe the fear got the better of him.
In contrast to Babatunde, the other two contestants – Jill and Charlene – hung at the end of the ledge for several minutes as it became a little steeper every second. Surprisingly, he said before entering the jungle that he wanted to ‘challenge’ himself.
