In a ‘temper tantrum,’ the cultural icon threatened to quit the show. After his latest Bushtucker Trial, Boy George reportedly made an unrealistic demand and when he was denied politely, he threw the biggest tantrum any star has ever thrown in this season.

Here’s what happened
The Culture Club icon found it inconvenient that, unlike Sue Cleaver, he couldn't use a golf buggy to return to camp after participating in a Bushtucker Trial. Under special medical conditions, Sue Cleaver is given the liberty to ride back to the camp in a golf buggy as she cannot walk up the steep hill between the trial grounds and camp.
A source confirmed that even Boy George wanted to get a ride back to the camp on the gold buggy because he was ‘exhausted.’ However, the crew refused him politely and yet he threatened to quit the show until a producer calmed him down. An Insider told The Sun:
George threw a massive strop and demanded to be driven in his own buggy - but ITV were having none of it as they said it would not be fair on the others.
He then stormed into one of the production crew tents and pinched an apple, before hiding behind trees so that he couldn’t be filmed by any of the show’s cameras.
It was a proper temper tantrum, but George wasn’t backing down.
The insider added:
He was threatening to walk out of the show, and in that moment he probably would have done.
Luckily one of the producers was able to retrieve him, sit him down in a tent and convince him not to leave.
It was a real storm in a teacup, and thankfully in the end he recognised that and agreed to go back to camp.
Toxic campmate
This comes after Boy George found himself under fire from angry fans. After his repeated ‘negative’ comments on the rest of the campmates, viewers have started to believe that he might be the real problem, reported Chronicle Live. A fan tweeted:
Boy George needs to leave!!! He’s so toxic and negative!!!
Another two added:
Boy George needs to go .. brings nothing but negative energy to the camp!
Can’t stand Boy George’s negative vibes If he hates it so much, let’s Vote him out!
