Women’s aid has issued a damning statement against ‘alleged abuser’ Seann Walsh and demanded that ITV bosses be careful with their editing of him. The charity sent a message to ITV on Twitter after Seann was seen gathering ‘sympathy’ on TV and called his kissing scandal ‘the worst moment of my life.’

Tread lightly, bosses
Seann discussed the fallout from his kiss with Strictly partner Katya Jones on Thursday night's episode with campmates. The comedian told his fellow contestant how his ‘poor’ ex-girlfriend’s online statement ‘ended’ him.
He mentioned how apologetic he was and publicly made repeated apologies. He added:
That will forever be the weirdest moment of my life and I have to say probably the worst moment of my life.
After his comment on the show, Women’s Aid has come forward to call out the celeb, reported The Sun. The organisation tweeted:
Imagine experiencing gaslighting by a partner, undergoing therapy, and then watching that person garner sympathy on national TV?
We ask @ITV @imacelebrity to consider in their edit not platforming alleged abusers minimising their actions on screen. Solidarity with survivors.
Toxic Seann
Rebecca Humphries, Seann’s ex, was devastated when the 34-year-old was caught cheating on her. So, in one of her interviews, she referred to Seann as ‘toxic’ and said:
For a brief while, I was one-half of the poster couple for toxic love. I hadn’t even known that love shouldn’t look like it did for us, that an insidious loss of joy, opinion and confidence wasn’t what was required of me.
I just thought relationships took work and compromise and weren’t always plain sailing, and a whole host of other unhelpful soundbites I had filed away over the years to justify the daily pain.
She also accused him of gaslighting her and added:
In the two years after the Strictly incident, I worked very hard pulling out of my body the sticky, tar-like residue that gaslighting leaves you with. I met someone new.
