Since the All-Stars South Africa edition is pre-filmed and has no live bits, viewers have no authority over who to pick for trials or who to vote for. In an unexpected turn of events, campmates will be given the power tonight to vote out one contestant.

I’m A Celeb South Africa’s major eviction format change
According to The Sun, Ant and Dec will enter the jungle tonight and break the news of the secret ballot. Meaning, the jungle journey for one of the celebs will come to an end today as campmates decide each other’s fate. Tonight’s episode will see Dec walk into the camp and say:
We bring news. For one of you, this will be your last night in camp. But this time, who that is, is up to you.
Ant adds:
You'll each be taking part in a secret ballot and you'll be voting to decide the next celebrity to leave camp.
Dec later revealed:
They did not like that. They were all about to go to bed and now they have to think about who to vote for.
Meanwhile, Paul Burrell - royal secret-spilling butler - said:
That's not nice! That smiling assassin duo has delivered an incendiary device into the middle and the heart of our camp and family and I am not very happy.
Toff added:
That's horrendous. I don't like this.

I’m A Celeb unhappy with the show format
This comes after I’m A Celeb fans expressed their unhappiness at their lack of power this time. Last week saw Shaun and Gillian take the exit and ever since then, fans believe the show has been ‘ruined.’ One took to Twitter and wrote:
Its not @imacelebrity anymore, it's the ant and Dec show, Shaun ryder was the one who had me watching it. This I'm a celeb legends is a good idea, but taking away audience participation. Which audience vote for there entertainment.. has ruined it
