We may already be washing our hands of the fifth series of Love Island, the nation’s most-watched reality TV show, but its’s only in preparation for the brand spanking new winter edition coming to our screens.

This year’s Love Island saw a record-breaking 85,000 people apply to be on the show therefore with demand higher than ever before it only made sense to give the public what they want for a second time this year!
In an official statement from ITV, they’ve explained that the principles of the show remain the same; “The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.”
The villa will be moving to a new, exotic location in South Africa, so the shopping challenge will certainly be a little more problematic for our islanders, making for good TV for us at home.
Applications will close by the end of November and it is necessary for all applicants to be 18 years of age of older by the closing date stated. Forget the impending winter blues, it’s time to crack on with your forms and get yourself in that villa!
