It’s official, Jess Gale and Ched Uzor are no longer together. The couple were rumoured to have split last month after Ched said they were ‘not in a relationship’ despite talking every day through lockdown. Now, Jess has taken to Instagram to confirm that their romance is well and truly over.

Taking to her Instagram story, she wrote: ‘To confirm myself and Ched have split, we are still good friends and I wish him all the best. Thanks for all the support you have given us since the villa.’ Ched then reposted the simple statement to his own story, making no extra comments of his own.
How long were Jess and Ched together?
Jess and Ched initially coupled up in Casa Amor, on Day 26 of Winter Love Island 2020. They remained coupled up for the rest of their time on the show and eventually came fourth in the public vote behind winners Paige and Finn, runners-up Siânnise and Luke T and third-place couple Demi and Luke M.
Jess and Ched’s relationship seemed to be going well after leaving the villa, as they posted several loved-up selfies together. But fans were worried in March when Ched disappeared from Jess’ Insta feed. Jess quickly confirmed they were ‘still together’ but not in an official relationship. Soon after, they were separated by the UK’s coronavirus lockdown measures.
Which Love Island 2020 Islanders are still together?
The 2020 Islanders have faced even bigger challenges than usual in keeping their relationships going after leaving the villa. With the lockdown measures coming into place at the end of March, couples were forced to decide whether they’d isolate separately or hunker down together just weeks into their new relationships.
Paige and Finn, Luke T and Siânnise, Callum and Molly and Mike Boateng and Priscilla Anyabu all decided to live with their respective partners – and all seem to be going strong. Meanwhile, Luke M and Demi and Ched and Jess have split whilst isolating separately. However, Nas and Eva have recently reunited for the first time in weeks, proving that spending lockdown apart doesn’t necessarily spell the end of a relationship.
