Liberty Poole will be back on our screens at the start of next year as she’s one of the latest stars to be confirmed for Dancing On Ice 2022. And the 21-year-old ex-Nandos waitress might just have a surprising advantage on the show—as her mum is a former figure skater.

I grew up watching Dancing On Ice and my mum actually used to be a figure skater. I ice skate as a hobby sometimes so I can get around the rink but I can't do any tricks, no pirouetting or anything, so I'm really looking forward to pushing myself and learning as much as I possibly can. Not just skating around the ice but actually dancing on ice. Bring it on!
Of course, Love Island viewers also got a taste of Liberty’s dancing skills when she performed a song-and-dance routine to 'You’re The One That I Want' from Grease with then-boyfriend Jake at the Love Island talent show. Will we be seeing a reprise of this routine on ice in January?
Dancing On Ice 2022 line-up
Eight celebs have so far been confirmed for the Dancing On Ice 2022 line-up, with four more expected to be revealed in due course. So far, the other confirmed stars are Coronation Street’s Sally Dynevor, Bez from the Happy Mondays, Paralympian Stef Reid, S Club’s Rachel Stevens, Paul Gascoigne’s son Regan Gascoigne, rugby player Ben Foden and ex-Strictly pro Brendan Cole.
Meanwhile, Dame Arlene Phillips is rumoured to be replacing John Barrowman on the judging panel alongside Christopher Dean, Jayne Torville and Ashley Banjo.
