Faye Winter and Teddy Soares were two of the most talked-about Islanders this series. While it wasn’t always for the right reasons, the couple got over their bumps in the road and ended up coming third in Love Island 2021, beaten only by Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran and winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon.

Faye and Teddy’s first interview
Both Teddy and Faye appeared in a joint interview on Lorraine this morning - each calling in via video from their separate quarantine locations. When Lorraine asked them about their big argument in the villa, Faye admitted that she had not watched the infamous moment back since leaving the villa.
She said:
Obviously, it's not nice. It's not nice for anyone to see. Yeah, I'm embarrassed. I've apologised, and I've apologised on more than one occasion, but you know, we're over it now as a couple. So, it's made us stronger, and we're just looking forward to the future. But it's just such a shame that it's been such a big part of the show.
Meanwhile, Teddy explained how he managed to stay so calm amid Faye’s accusations, saying:
We understand each other quite well, so I can definitely see why she would be annoyed, receiving the postcard, and it's a surreal moment that would never happen in the real world. So I kind of, I was shown very understanding of the way that she was, and I was devastated obviously that I hurt her. I never like seeing her cry at all, so it was painful to see.
Faye and Teddy reunion
While Faye and Teddy are currently separated and self-isolating after returning to the UK, they plan to reunite when their quarantine periods end on Monday. They are also looking into finding a place together in London—although Faye still plans to spend half the week in Devon to ensure they have some ‘space’ from each other while they’re still in their ‘honeymoon period.’
