Who is Jacques O'Neill?
The latest hunk said to have made the final cut of young hopefuls looking for love in the hit match-making show is none other than rugby up-and-comer, Jacques O'Neill. The 23-year-old who currently plays for the Castleford Tigers, who instantly caught the eyes of producers, have been involved with the sport professional since his teenage years.
As it stands in the world of British rugby, O'Neill is regarded as one of the most promising young talents who has already made a mark for himself in the sport. The blue-eyed athlete is originally from Cumbria and started his professional rugby career playing for the England Knights. He has made a total of 29 appearances for the Tigers but it looks like he might be taking a break for a little while now that he is said to have made the final cut for Love Island 2022.
Who else is joining the cast?
Also rumoured to be taking part in the latest series of Love Island is former WAG and micro social media influencer, Sophie Draper. The brunette beauty apparently made an impression on producers of the show who thought she would be a perfect candidate. A well-connected source said:
Love Island bosses think she could be a good fit for the show, it's early days still but she definitely has potential.
Zara Mcdermott's younger brother has also apparently been signed on by producers.
