Love Island bosses sign up another celeb bombshell after Joey Essex
Reportedly, after Joey Essex brought immense success to the show - with 2.2 million people watching it, show bosses are attempting to replicate the result. This comes as another celeb with links to Curtis Pritchard may be entering the villa. According to The Sun, Abbie Quinnen, the ex-girlfriend of Strictly dancer AJ Pritchard - Curtis’ brother - is ‘waiting’ to join the singletons in the villa.
A source told the publication:
Abbie has become well-known in her own right and after her break up with AJ she fancied a fresh chance at love.
Joey went in as the first big bombshell and Abbie is waiting in the wings for the call-up.
She has been in talks with Love Island for weeks over being a bombshell and has said she can’t wait to dive in and mix things up.
When she was with AJ she found out a lot about Love Island through Curtis so she knows what is in store for her.
However, there’s a catch. Abbie just posted a picture of her niece and nephew on her Instagram revealing she’s on ‘auntie duties’ for the next few days.
Who is Abbie Quinnen?
The soon-to-be 27-year-old is a dancer, model, actress and singer as per her Instagram bio. Born on May 9,1997, Abbie dated Strictly star AJ Pritchard for four years. The two split in 2022 after Abbie allegedly found text messages from another woman in his phone. Talking about her split at the time, she revealed she’s ‘completely devastated’ to find out AJ isn’t who she thought he was.
Later, she confessed on her Instagram that the relationship left her traumatised and she finds it hard to trust people, reports Mirror. During a Q&A, she answered the question ‘How’s the love life?’ and wrote:
I tend to go for all the red flags so need someone to find someone for me. I don't trust my judgement.
