Things are not always what they seem and this becomes the reality even more when you’re on TV. Love Island is the biggest example of such things. How many times have Islanders come out of the villa and claimed that the 60-minute edited version of the show is nothing like what they’re like in real life.

Love Island All Stars is no different either. With just 45-50 minutes of telecast every day, it’s impossible to get to know someone and their true personality. Dumped Love Island star Demi Jones has revealed that this is what has happened with Molly Smith.
Love Island’s Molly Smith 'misinterpreted’ by viewers due to show’s edit
After getting evicted from the villa with Luis Morrison - who was dumped by her ‘secret’ girlfriend - Demi Jones has revealed that one of the most misinterpreted Islanders of the series has been Molly Smith so far.
Seeing how Molly was targetted by the viewers because of her equation with Callum Jones and her reactions to the villa situation, Demi revealed the ‘edit’ of the show made her look like that. Speaking to Closer Magazine, she revealed:
When I first came out I felt that Molly [Smith] was really misrepresented.
Obviously, I was in there and saw her emotions - what she was going through first-hand and how she was dealing with it 24 hours a day - not just how it was edited to look.
So coming out and seeing that she was getting a lot of slack for how she dealt with the Callum [Jones] situation, I was so surprised because imagine being in there with your ex.
However, the islander added that the misinterpretation is ‘changing’ as things are getting clearer for both the Islanders and viewers. She added:
But I'm glad times are changing now and she's cracking on with Tom and the narrative is changing.
What’s happening with Molly Smith in the Love Island All Stars villa?
Love Island viewers were shocked when Molly Smith and Callum Jones entered as the first set of bombshells for the season. The two were shocked when they saw each other in the villa as they merely broke up six months before the villa stint.
For the initial few days, the ‘Will-they-won’t-they’ lingo played between the two led fans to doubt if the couple had really split or if was it a publicity stunt. However, the two have now moved on and are getting to know other islanders in the villa. Molly is currently paired with Tom Clare and Callum is getting to know Georgia Steel.
However, Georgia Steel has a history with Tom Clare as well and the things are as messy for the couple as they could be.
