We’re now just one week away from the launch of Love Island 2021. The show will kick off next week on Monday 28 June and ITV is releasing the names of the first lot of Islanders today. Before posting the identities of the Islanders, the official Love Island Insta shared a message asking fans to be kind.

‘Think before you post’
Published on Sunday evening, the post read:
YOU’VE GOT A TEXT! Tomorrow we will be revealing the cast for Love Island 2021… These islanders are all single and ready to find love. We can’t wait to watch them get to know each other, date and maybe even find the one. We are so grateful they’re letting us follow their journey this summer. We hope you enjoy the show, but please think before you post.
This message comes after ITV revealed they were amping up their duty of care and mental health provision for Love Island contestants even further this year. All Islanders have been briefed about the potential negative impacts of fame and will all be entitled to at least eight therapy sessions after leaving the villa.
Who is in the Love Island 2021 cast?
So far, Love Island has confirmed that 25-year-old Sharon Gaffka, 24-year-old Aaron Francis, 21-year-old Liberty Poole, 24-year-old Hugo Hammond, 22-year-old Shannon Singh, 24-year-old Jake Cornish and 26-year-old Kaz Kamwi are all part of the Love Island 2021 cast. More names are being released throughout the day.
There are likely to be another five names announced today—since the show usually starts off with 12 Islanders entering the villa for the first coupling up. So far, none of the names that were rumoured before this weekend have appeared on the line up—maybe they’ll be bombshells?
