Last night, UK viewers saw Josh Packham and Anna McEvoy crowned the winners of Love Island Australia series 2 over runners-up Cartier Surjan and Matthew Zukowski and third-placed Aaron Deacon Shaw and Cynthia Taylu. Are Josh Packham and Anna McEvoy still together?
Sadly, no. Love Island Australia series 2 winners Josh Packham and Anna McEvoy stayed together for just over a year after being crowned winners but eventually split in November 2020. They had been living together in Melbourne for nearly six months but said they had been ‘struggling for a while’.
Are Cartier and Matthew still together?
Nope. Cartier and Matthew announced they’d put an end to their romance just two short weeks after leaving the villa. Cartier told fans:
I've made the decision that Matthew and I are better off staying good friends rather than in a relationship. He's a beautiful guy no doubt about it! Hope you all can respect my decision and support both of us in finding true love.
Cartier has since moved on and seems to be very happily coupled up with her rugby star boyfriend Jake Simpkin. Meanwhile, Matthew has moved on with Bachelor in Paradise’s Keira Maguire. Although Cartier and Matthew’s romance didn’t work out, Cartier did form one lasting relationship on the show—she and Jessie Wynter are still BFFs!
Are any Love Island Australia season 2 couples still together?
Unfortunately not. Sorry to rain on all the romance we saw in the finale last night but not a single couple formed on Love Island Australia season 2 has stayed together. However, season 1’sJosh Moss and Amelia Plummer are still going strong nearly three years after meeting in the villa so there is hope yet!
