Love Island bosses slammed for the 'most pointless' move ever as public vote opens

Love Island has almost finished its final week. The journey of love that started with 10 sexy singletons was joined by 22 bombshells over the course last 7 weeks - including 12 Casa Amor bombshells. There are only 5 couples left in the villa and one of them will be dumped from the villa soon as the finale on July 31 crowns one public-voted couple as the winner of the show.

The second edition of 2023 Love Island has been an eventful, drama-filled and entertaining journey for the Islanders and viewers.

Love Island fans fume as show bosses open up public vote

Love Island couples all had their iconic final dates. These were supposed to be about romance and love but the islanders were given the task to vote for the least compatible couple on their dates. All the couples voted Mitch and Ella B as the least compatible couple. Whereas, Mitch and Ella B voted for Whitney and Lochan.

The clear decision should've been dumping the couple with maximum votes - Mitch and Ella B. However, show bosses decided to open the vote to the public who had to save one of the two couples. A major part of Love Island fandom was left furious as the public vote was 'pointless' and 'unnecessary.' They took to Twitter and wrote:
