Our Summer essential is back! ITV2 and ITVX aired Summer Love Island’s 31st episode tonight and 10 sexy singletons embarked on an eventful journey of love. Show host Maya Jama has entered the villa twice with unexpected twists in this series and viewers are loving how messy this series is.

A lot has happened in the villa in the last 4 weeks from Molly Marsh's brutal dumping to her return during Casa Amor. All this comes amidst Zach and Whitney's new potential connection and the Islanders getting to know Casa Amor bombshells.

Summer Love Island's Ella recouples with Ouzy

After the recoupling tonight, Ella decided to bring back Ouzy to the main villa. Tyrique and Ella were closed off and he expected Ella to remain loyal through her Casa journey, but seeing her with a new man left him fuming beyond imagination. From what it appears, Tyrique was trying to hold back his tears as he told Ella it was 'done and over' for them.

Ella tried to defend herself but considering how the two had 'closed off' things, Tyrique has put an end to their journey together. Will he now take Ella back is something only time will tell, but by the looks of it - it's not happening anytime soon.

Summer Love Island's Catherine recouples with Elom

In another heartbreak from the night, Catherine decided to recouple with Elom and leave Scott single and vulnerable. Tomorrow night's (July 6) preview showed Catherine and Scott getting into an argument after the brutal recoupling. Catherine's alleged betrayal to Scott got sidelined a little amidst Tyrique and Ella's drama, however, there's definitely more to come from it.

After Molly Marsh's infamous comeback during Casa Amor, Zachariah chose to couple up with her and leave Kady single. After Kady returned from Casa to see Zach with Molly, she greeted her with a high-pitched 'She's back, welcome back!' to which Molly didn't respond and just gave a cheeky smile.
