And it looks like that fans won’t have to wait much longer for the 2023’s winter edition of the show. According to The Sun, a source has alleged that the show will be hitting our screens on January 16.
The contestants are expected to be flown to the new South African Villa in the early weeks of January. The Source claimed:
Love Island bosses have planned for the show to start on Blue Monday – which is bound to give fans a massive lift on such a gloomy day.
This year’s contestants will be flown out to South Africa earlier in January and will start filming for the first episode the day before.
The grand finale will take place eight weeks later on March 13.
Exciting series to look forward to
According to the source, the new series’ contestants are the ‘sexiest ever’ in the ‘biggest-villa’ yet. They alleged:
The villa is absolutely amazing, Maya is raring to go and this series’ contestants are looking to be the sexiest ever.
It is a really exciting time for everyone who works on the show and they cannot wait to get started.
Heat World reported that Eamon Blackwell – TOWIE star 'Gatsby' Blackwell’s brother, Lilly-Sue McFadden and Lilly-Ella Gerrard are some of the rumoured contestants of the winter series.
