Love Island recently announced the official lineup of islanders that will be going into the famous Majorcan villa. After the initial backlash of and criticism against the OG islanders, fans found that their favourite is Mimii Ngulube. Amidst all the names revealed as the OG islanders for the 2024 summer series, Harriett Blackmore is also one of them.

The 24-year-old is a dancer and personal shopper from Brighton. She’s understood to be best friends with former Strictly professional dancer Saffron Barker. As such, she’s not that ‘unknown’ face for many fans familiar with Saffron and her 2019 Strictly journey.
Harriett Blackmore accused of already having a boyfriend
Soon after the lineup was revealed, many fans who have already seen Harriett on Saffron’s stories, insisted that she already has a boyfriend. According to The Sun, they took to X and shared how they have always seen her with a man.
One fan wrote:
She's one of Saffron Barker's best friends and I always see her with her man. Like literally recently I've seen a story of her and her man, so I'm confused.
Another two added:
She had a boyfriend who she put on her IG story very recently.
She has a bf which she posted two days ago and his name is Josh.
This is the second time this year that an islander has been accused of having a ‘secret’ partner outside the villa. Earlier this year, Love Island All Stars contestant Luis Morrison was accused of having a secret girlfriend as well.
ITV responds to claims about Harriett Blackmore having a boyfriend
After claims that Harriett had a boyfriend, ITV intervened to confirm that she had been dating someone for the last three years but that they had broken in January this year. Shutting down the claims that she’s in a relationship, ITV told the Mirror:
Harriett broke up with her partner of three years in January and has been single since then. The pair have maintained contact but the relationship ended at the beginning of the year.
