On Sunday night, Paige Turley and Finnley Tapp were announced as the winners of Winter Love Island 2020. They beat runners-up Siânnise Fudge and Luke Trotman as well as Luke Mabbott and Demi Jones and Jess Gale and Ched Uzor, who finished the show in third and fourth place respectively.

After they were named the winners, Paige and Finnley had to pick between two envelopes – with one containing £50,000 and the other £0. 22-year-old Paige drew the winning envelope but, in a move that will surprise no-one who’s watched the last five series, opted to share the prize with Finn, ‘proving’ that she was in it for love not money.
On the night, host Laura Whitmore also announced that the show would be returning in the summer, saying:
‘If you’re at home and thinking, “Get me in that villa”, then I have a treat for you. The next series we’ll be heading back to sunny Majorca this summer.’ Applications are now open for any budding Islanders who fancy giving it a shot.
The news comes after some uncertainty as to whether the show would continue in the light of Caroline Flack’s death last week. Two episodes of this series were cancelled in the wake of the tragic news but the finale episode was dedicated to Caroline, as Laura underlined her love for the show in an emotional tribute.
She said: ‘The past week has been extremely difficult coming to terms with the loss of our friend and colleague Caroline. We're thinking of her family and everyone who knew her at this time. Caroline loved Love Island. She loved love and that's why tonight's final is dedicated to her.’
