Love Island: Ronnie Vint takes Harriett Blackmore to the hideaway risking his connection with Jess

Love Island begins its second week today (10 June) and it’s already looking wilder than the first. The opening week saw Joey Essex enter the villa as the first celeb bombshell in the show’s history. He chose to couple up with Samantha Kenny which ultimately led to the first dumping of the villa after a mere 24 hours. The boys then started moving messy in the villa which ended up forming multiple love triangles in just the first few days.

One of these triangles now includes Harriett Blackmore, Ronnie Vint and Jess White. Seemingly new in its origin, the triangle is moving faster than the others in the villa.

Ronnie Vint takes Harriett Blackmore to the Hideaway tonight

According to The Sun, the 27-year-old footballer is going to take Harriett Blackmore to the hideaway in tonight’s episode (June 10). This comes after his recoupling speech on Friday left Jess White furious as he stated he was open and wanted to get to know Harriett while he chose to stay coupled up with Jess.

Things have been messy between the three ever since Jess felt sidelined by Ronnie and Harriett's new-found interest in each other. To add more to her troubles, it has been revealed by The Sun that Ronnie will take Harriett to the Hideaway to have a one-on-one conversation about their potential connection.

Noticing Ronnie has pulled Harriett to the hideaway, Jess remarks to Patsy:

He’s taken her to the Hideaway.

Hinting that if he kisses Harriett it may be over for Ronnie and Jess, she added:

I tell you what though, if he does kiss her...

What happens in the Hideaway between Ronnie and Harriett?

Meanwhile, in the Hideaway, things get more serious between Ronnie and Harriett. After the intense challenge islander played around the fire pit, Ronnie remarked:

The challenge was a bit mad wasn’t it, I thought I’d just take you out and see what’s what.

Harriet replied:

I feel like it’s progressed in the right direction but obviously, you’re still in a couple with Jess.

Ronnie then goes to assure her that Jess knows about how he’s open to getting to know her and it should be okay with her that she fancies him too. To which Harriett replies:

You know I fancy you, I’ve fancied you since the beginning.

Meanwhile, Love Island fans are left confused as they question Ronnie’s decision to go for Harriett over Jess. They took to X and shared:

i honestly can’t understand why ronnie would drop JESS for HARRIET???? jess seems to be one of the only normal girls in there
