Jessica aka Jess Hayes rose to fame after finding success on the first revived series of ITV’s Love Island in 2015. She ended up winning the show with ex-boyfriend Max Morley, however, the two parted ways only after six weeks. Since then, Jess has been with other people and gave birth to her first child - Presley in 2019.

Love Island star Jess Hayes welcomes new baby
As such welcoming a baby girl this year has been huge for Jess and her businessman fiancé Zeb. Jess shared the news with OK! Magazine and revealed she has named her daughter Zendaya Rose as her husband loved that name but she calls her Zenny.
Born on April 30, 2024, Jess feels that her baby girl fits the name and said:
My partner Zeb really liked the name Zendaya when I was pregnant but I prefer it shortened - I’ve never heard of the name Zenny before so I like that it’s unique. We had that name planned for a while before she arrived and she suits it.
I’ve just been calling her Zenny because I think it’s really cute.
Jess also shared that Zenny is a ‘really chilled baby’. She said:
She’s been amazing. She’s a really chilled baby, more relaxed than Presley was I’d say.
How was Jessica Hayes' birthing experience with Zendaya?
After losing two children before, Jess was worried about her childbirth this time. The Love Island star - who had a fabulous weight loss transformation - revealed that giving birth to Zenny was quicker than she expected and she was only in the hospital for one evening.
Jess explained:
It was a really smooth labour actually, I had a water birth. My partner came home from work and my water broke in the evening so we got to the hospital at about 7 pm and I had her at around 10:30 pm, it was good.
Jess shared that Zenny weighed heavier than her son Presley and there was a brief moment that scared her and her partner. The moment of panic began when they realised that the umbilical cord was slightly wrapped around her and she was ‘a little bit purple and wasn’t crying.’ The couple had a mini panic attack at that moment but eventually, everything settled.
Praising her new daughter and how well-behaved she is, Jess added that she hasn’t been causing any chaos at home.
