If you have ever wondered whether the show is fake or not - the answer is not as simple as you’d think. Love Island’s Casa Amor ‘fake’ scene

Each year the girls or the guys are sent to the second villa - the infamous Casa Amor. This year American singer Ne-Yo came for an in-house concert and whisked the girls out after his performance. Whenever the contestants leave for Casa Amor, they don’t carry their belongings with them and their partners are expected to make a bag for them.

The iconic gesture usually has the boys filling the suitcase with their clothes, slippers, letters or token of love and care like sending the girls their stuffed toys. For instance, Millie Court packed her Sagittarius necklace for Liam during Casa Amor in 2019, Kai Fagan wrote ‘missing you already’ for an eye mask for Olivia Hawkins in series 9 and Molly-Mae packed her elephant Teddy the beloved Ellie Belly for Tommy - who slept with it every day.

As iconic, loved-up and adorable as these moments be, Casa Amor series 10 star Kodie Murphy has revealed there’s more to it.

Love Island’s Kodie Muprhy reveals the truth behind Casa packing

This year Tyrique decide not to pack any of Ella’s bikinis and Zach packed his trainers for Kady. However, Kodie revealed during a social media Q&A that all of this is done for content. Kodie revealed the scenes are ‘staged’ and girls did end up getting the stuff they needed, reported The Sun.

Kodie was asked on Instagram:

Do the girls actually have to use what the boys packed for them for Casa or do they also get their own case of what they actually want?

To which, Kodie replied:

So when the cases come through we were all like, 'Oh my God, what's in there?' And obviously they got done so dirty.
But they do get their clothes and stuff that they need. But they have to wait, because it's all for content.

Kodie added that the girls ‘went crazy’ that they had to be without make-up. He said:

They didn't get any of their makeup and they were all going crazy.
So all the lads were like, 'S***'. A girl without their makeup who can't get ready, they're like on edge. So we were all scared and were like, 'S*** what's going down?!
