How much was the villa worth?
The villa in question had been on the market for well over a year at an asking price of £3.1 million before it was picked up by an unnamed person. The well-placed insider said:
It was taken off the market about two weeks ago. It sold for near its asking price.
According to expert real estate agents, the villa stood out from the rest of the properties in the region for its one-of-a-kind beach-style outdoor pools. As if that weren't enough, from the viewpoint of the villa, you could see as far as the uninhabited island of Cabrera off Majorca’s southern coast.
Boasting a spectacular five bedrooms and five bathrooms, the property also came equipped with a stunning whirlpool, as well as underfloor heating and sunny balcony terrace.
