Summer Love Island's Jess refused to film after cruel twist
After Maya Jama entered the villa tonight, Islanders had to pick two couples who were the least compatible on the show. Islanders picked Jess Harding and Sammy Root and Leah Taylor and Mitchel Taylor and they are not allowed to recouple with each other and would have to date two new bombshells.
According to an insider, the two couples chosen by the Islanders were so furious that one even refused to film the show further. They told The Sun:
The four islanders chosen as the least compatible were left fuming.
Jess and Sammy and Leah and Mitchel were all annoyed at losing the vote at the hands of their co-stars.
While it was Sammy who felt the decision was unfair, it was Jess who didn't want to film any longer. the source added:
It really ruffled some feathers — and it got worse when Jess found out she had to go on a date with the new boy.
It wasn’t anything personal against him, but a producer had to console her while she sobbed and coax her to continue filming.
Eventually, she carried on and it got smoothed over, but it was such a bombshell twist, it was unsurprising the Islanders were so annoyed.

Summer Love Island fans think that the twist was brutal
Fans believe that the twist was brutal as the Islanders had to take names in front of each other around the fire pit. One wrote:
