How to apply for Love Island 2022
As long as you’re over the age of 18, not an ITV employee (or close relative of an employee), have a valid passport and ten weeks free this summer, you can apply to be on the next series of Love Island on the ITV website—at this link: https://itv.etribez.com/ag/itvli/loveisland8/welcome.html.
You’ll also need to be OK with sharing some pretty personal information, which could include details about your sex life, politics and mental and physical health. While there’s nothing specifically stating it in the application terms and conditions, we reckon it’s probably best if you’re single too—although that hasn’t always stopped Islanders before...
When is Love Island 2022?
The application form doesn’t give us any extra clues about the specific air date forLove Islandseries 8 but it does make it seem a pretty safe bet that the show will be returning this summer. In previous years, Love Island has always started in late May or early June. However, last year’s series was delayed to the end of June due to the pandemic. We’ll have to wait and see whether the show reverts to the earlier calendar or sticks to the later start date. With the pandemic still ongoing, it may well depend on the situation when summer comes around.
