Harriet Blackmore spent a night with ‘alleged’ boyfriend before entering the villa
However, that wasn’t enough. New reports suggest that Harriett was still involved with her boyfriend - Josh Curling, 25 until very recently. A source told The Sun that Harriett spent Friday night at Josh’s house where she gave him a scrapbook full of their pictures together and told him ‘I love you.’
It is understood that the 24-year-old then dumped Josh over a text that evening and told him:
I need time to focus on myself and what I’m doing.
The source added that Harriett and Josh had broken up in January after they started arguing all the time, but the romance was rekindled in April. Josh also had a short fling during their time apart but the two were trying to make things work. As such, his friends confirmed he was left ‘livid and hurt’ to see Harriett as one of the Islanders. The sources also added that Harriett never told Josh about going on Love Island and he feels ‘led down.’

Meanwhile, Harriett told The Sun that she had broken up with her boyfriend 4 months ago and is really looking forward to finding a nice man she can take home and introduce him to her friends and family. Harriett said:
I broke up recently with my boyfriend in January, so about four months ago.
We kind of broke up out of the blue but we've remained in contact and, and I think we'll always be friends, there's no bad blood there.
Suggesting that all these rumours about her are out of spite, Harriett insisted that ‘for me, the relationship ended in January’. She added:
You know the ex-boyfriend’s always going to have a lot to say and even if it's not the ex-boyfriend, one of his friends…. he's not expecting me to be on TV, so he’s probably got a lot of emotions, he’s probably got a lot of feelings.
