Whilst he's probably best-known nationwide as the narrator of Love Island, Iain Stirling started out his career in stand-up comedy - and he's just announced that he'll be going on a huge UK and Ireland tour in 2018.

Iain's new show is called 'Failing Upwards' and is the follow-up to his sell-out 2018 tour 'U OK HUN? x'. His official website describes it as a a brand new stand-up show about 'managing to be normal', in which 'he explores his inability to function in the most basic of public settings, social media’s constant pressure to “live your best life” and that one time a man stole his shoes.'
The tour includes dates across the UK and Ireland - meaning there's sure to be one near you no matter where you call home. Tickets are already available for most dates, with prices starting at around £20.
The tour is set to take place from March to May - which seems to suggest that that will be a Love Island-free period of the year. With an all-new winter version of Love Island recently announced, it seems a fair assumption that this will be taking place from January to February next year (it's unlikely to be on in November-December as that would clash with ITV's other big money reality show, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!).
If you can't wait until March next year for more from Iain Stirling, his debut book, Not Ready to Adult Yet: A Totally Ill-informed Guide to Life is available on Amazon - and with a heap of 5-star reviews it comes seriously recommended.
