Jake Cornish found fame on Love Island 2021 series where he was coupled up with Liberty Poole. Two weeks before the finale Liberty dumped Jake and they had to dramatically quit the show. However, the star still got a lot of love and support from his stint in the villa.

Jake Cornish doesn’t like the fame
The star opened three businesses after hisLove Island debut – a bed and mattress company, an outdoor furniture company and a promotions company. And although these companies keep him busy, the 25-year-old wishes ‘people didn’t know who he was.’
Speaking to The Sun in an interview, Jake touched upon his struggle to deal with the after-effects of being famous. He revealed:
It’s nice being in the limelight and people speaking to you and that kind of thing but sometimes you do think ‘I wish people would just not know me' so you could just relax.
Jake Cornish isn’t the only Love Island star in the show’s history who has found it difficult to deal with the fame. Last year’s Love Island contestant Paige Thorne has also confessed to finding it difficult to deal with fame. OK! Magazine confirmed that Jake’s co-star in the villa Tyler Cruickshank has also returned to his pre-villa job and career.

Jake Cornish to be on TV soon
Even though he struggles to deal with fame, Jake Cornish also revealed that he’ll be back on TV soon. He told the publication:
You’ll see me again soon on your TV. It’s different. But no comment on what it’s going to be just yet.
The star admitted that he’s still in touch with many Islanders from the show except his ex-girlfriend Liberty Poole. He added:
I speak to the lads and a couple of girls now and again but I don’t speak to Liberty.
Liberty and Jake tried to work things out once again outside the villa but that didn’t go well.
