Love Island's Molly and Zach are secretly 'disliked' by Islanders, here's why

Show bosses are eager on shaking things up in the villa this Summer Love Island 2023. 10 sexy singletons embarked on a journey of love, fun and drama as show host Maya Jama welcomed them all.

The show started its third week by sending Ella and Ty to the hideaway and a recoupling that brought together some Islanders who actually wanted to be together.

Summer Love Island contestants dislike Molly and Zach

Tonight's episode saw Molly and Zach go on their first date after Zach admitted to cheating multiple times in his past relationships. Islanders targetted Zach brutally for his confession as Jess said:

Once a cheater, always a cheater

And many other Islanders like Ella, Mitch and Tyrique followed the lead. However, Molly - who's coupled up with Zach after all the intense drama of the past 2 weeks - had nothing to say.

Show bosses later sent the couple for their first date and as compared to the reactions Islanders usually give to first dates, their reaction to Zach and Molly's date was pretty dull and forced. Girls usually help the girl going on the date to get ready and all chant her name all the way down the stairs and exit of the villa. But tonight's episode saw barely anyone helping Molly get ready for the date or even chanting her name more than 3-4 times.

On the other hand, the only guy who took an interest in Zach's date was Tyrique when he asked him to do a dance step before going.

Summer Love Island contestant's reluctance for a first date debrief

Debriefings are a common part of the villa. Every morning and after every date, Islanders usually gather around and do a debrief on how things are looking. When Zach and Molly entered the villa after their date, Molly asked the girls to gather around the fire pit for a date debrief (probably as advised by the producers).

The debriefing ritual, however, was met with a dull reaction and visible reluctance from the Islanders. The rest of the villa showed zero to no excitement for their return and barely asked Molly or Zach any questions after the date. Usually, the Islanders are lot more reactive to even the most basic things in the villa.
