Friends is typically one of the most cult series of all time. What made the sitcom famous is obviously the colourful characters, including that of Joey, played by Matt LeBlanc. Although the series has aged a bit, this is also true of the actors, and Mr. ‘doesn’t share food’ has indeed understood this well!

Getting old!
Invited onto the American talk show Live with Kelly and Ryan, the actor who played Joey talked about the impact of the series on new generations, who are lucky enough to discover it thanks to streaming platforms like Netflix: ‘It's amazing, every year, there is a new generation who watches it’ he said cheerfully, before telling a story which was a little less funny for him:
One day, I was walking down the street and there was a kid, he must have been 13 or 14 years old, who looks at me and says “Oh my god… you’re Joey's father!” I replied “Get lost” right away as an older gentleman would do.
The young fans of the series do not even recognise the actor who plays Joey! A reminder of his age which must have hurt, since he is only 51 years old...
