Just four months after their whirlwind romance began, Maura Higgins and Giovanni Pernice have reportedly called time on their relationship. Both Maura and Giovanni have deleted all pictures of each other from their respective Instagram feeds. The split has reportedly come only a few days after the couple moved in together.

Giovanni and Maura split
Aside from removing all their loved-up pics from Instagram, neither Maura nor Giovanni has commented on the split so far. Their respective representatives have also declined to comment. But it seems like there might still be hope for a reunion once Giovanni’s hectic work schedule calms down. A source told The Sun:
It's all over for now. Maura's absolutely devastated, it appears the Strictly curse has struck again. Pals are hoping that they can patch things up. But only time will tell whether they'll work things out as Giovanni is so busy... Maura's decided to take a step back and let him concentrate on the show.
That being said, Giovanni’s schedule isn’t likely to get any lighter any time soon. He and celebrity dance partner Rose Ayling-Ellis are currently the hot favourites to win this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Giovanni and Maura’s relationship
Maura and Giovanni got together over the summer and confirmed their relationship with matching Instagram posts after being spotted together at a Cornwall hotel and at a football match in Wembley. Although their relationship only lasted 4 months, things seemed to be pretty serious between them, with friends of Giovanni suggesting that he might even pop the question to the Love Island star.
