Her relationship with Wes Nelson may not have worked out in the end - but Megan Barton-Hanson now has her eye on another very popular Islander. Speaking to The Tab, she revealed:

I’d love to have coupled up with Maura. I think we’re so similar in so many ways, like our views and stuff – but I don’t know if I could handle her, she’s very high maintenance, but I guess I am too!
In the interview, Megan also spoke about her struggles with people not taking her sexuality seriously. She said:
I’ve had people say to me ‘well you’re not actually gay’ like they think I’m just doing it for attention. Because I’m not the stereotypical lesbian they think ‘oh you’re just faking it now’. It’s not just men, it’s women too – people think it’s just for publicity.
She continued:
Because I’ve worked in the sex industry people sexualise my bisexuality, when really for me that was just a job. Coming from that sex industry background people automatically slut shame you, saying ‘it’s a sex addiction’ or something. Sex is an element of all relationships, of course, but the actual connection I have with someone I’m dating is far more important.
Megan publicly came out as bisexual last year, following her split from Wes. She’s since dated TOWIE star Demi Sims and singer Chelcee Grimes but she's currently single. Maura is also single - although she's recently been rumoured to be dating fellow Islander Chris Taylor - and has never suggested that she's interested in dating women.
Maura is also not the first Love Island lady that Megan's had her eye on. In the interview, Megan admitted that she'd harboured a secret crush on Laura Crane whilst she was coupled up with Wes in the villa back in 2018. And last summer, Megan said she quite fancied a ménage à trois with Tommy Fury and Anna Vakili - but we're not sure Molly-Mae would be too happy about that!
