Megan and Wes are one of the relationships that have so far lasted the test of time. Fans in particular weren't too warm on her when she first joined Love Island - she was accused of some of being a bit 'muggy' - she's quickly become one of the fan favourites from the series.

Amid dropping out of all club appearances post-Love Island villa, Megan has gone through some lengths to avoid all the hate and negative comments from online trolls after her past came to light. That isn't to say that she's ashamed of it however - the opposite actually.
Unfair double standards between men and women
Megan has never been afraid to put a troll on blast on Instagram, pointing out their obvious stupidity when they chime in giving her life advice or even going as far as slut-shaming her. She handles it with grace and cites her feminist hero Amber Rose when denouncing rape culture and the obvious double standard that dictates that men can sleep around, yet a woman "should act like a lady" and keep her legs closed.
On her Good Morning Britain appearance, she was quick to answer the question of how this kind of behaviour and narrative makes her feel. In addition to a well-thought out answer (check the video to see her statement), she wore a t-shirt with a bold message: stop valuing women based on their sexual history.
Who would've thought that this series of Love Island would see a contestant become an advocate for equality? We couldn't be happier!
