Love Island, the UK’s most-watched reality TV show, has been at the heart of controversy following the deaths of two previous islanders. After Mike Thallasitis took his own life, his fellow contestant, Montana Brown, has become vocal about the topic of mental health.

Montana Brown, the 23-year-old reality star has attempted you use her place in the spotlight to raise awareness of the negative impact of bullying and preach the message, “I think everyone should be a little bit nicer, a little bit kinder.”
However fans were left unconvinced as she did not hold back in a recent video interview alongside Jack Fowler for Heat Magazine. She carelessly called Anton “ugly” and it did not go unnoticed by listeners.
Comments on the video revealed the hypocrisy of the flippant statement. One user wrote, “Montana calling Anton ugly is so unnecessarily nasty. She should watch her words. We’re all well aware of the effect of words on mental health.
Another fan called her out for the carelessness, “How can Montana publicly call Anton ugly when she preached about mental health all the time and her close friend Mike took his life. She needs to practice what she preaches!”
