Bridgerton was the buzz last year and with season two recently streaming you may be wondering how much those gorgeous 1800s-style sets cost. Well, season one of Bridgerton cost Netflix $7 million per episode. The cost was split between the various locations as well as the intricately detailed costumes. It hasn’t been disclosed how much season two cost, but it may be similar in cost.

Sense8 was well-received by critics and viewers, which isn’t surprising when you realise how much they spent on each episode. This sci-fi series cost around $9 million per episodeby the second season. Most of that money went to the on-location shoots. The next expensive show Netflix produced is The Get Down which cost around $11 million per episode. Netflix only offered one season to its viewers. According to Vanity Fair, the reason why the show cost so much to produce was that there were many rewrites, showrunner exits, and much more which meant the cost kept rising.

The Crown is a very popular Netflix series about the British Royal Family. The series started in 2016 and is in its final season. The total cost for each episode is around $13 million from the costumes, the sets, and of course the beautiful props.

Stranger Thingsstarted in 2016 and the series became Netflix’s priciest series to produce when it hit its fourth season. According to The Wall Street Journal, the fourth season of Stranger Things production cost around $30 million per episode, which is a dramatic change compared to the first season which cost around $6 million per episode.
