With a minute-long clip, the teaser shows the return of the notorious Joe Goldberg in a brand new identity. Joe Goldberg and his (deceased) wife, Love Quinn, add to the death rate everywhere they set foot. With so many bodies hitting the ground, the upcoming season is also allegedly getting a new shift in genre, as per ET. Here’s a quick recap of all the murders in the seasons so far.
Season 1
Season one was a total roller coaster ride because the audience had no clue what to expect. With a body count totaling five, including the ‘supposed’ love of his life, Joe Goldberg was on a killing spree right from the beginning. Benji, Peach, Elijah, Ron and finally his love interest Guinevere Beck, were the ones who suffered at the hands of Joe.
Season 2
Season one set the tone for what was to come in season two. And it surely didn’t disappoint. This time, Joe found a ‘partner in crime’ with Love Quinn, his love interest of the season. As per Newsweek, the people killed by Joe and Love in season two include Jasper, Henderson, Joe’s mum’s boyfriend, Sofia, Delilah, and Candace. With a total of six murders, season two is undoubtedly one step above season one.
Season 3
As Joe and Quinn became borderline obsessive parents, even a small thing became a reason to kill. The two of them collectively killed five people and they also tortured a bunch of people both mentally and physically. Their victims included Natalie, Gil, Ryan, and James, and it finally ended up as a battle between Joe and Love. Joe ended up killing Love, needless to say.
What to expect?
The new trailer sees a bunch of new characters, and Joe is an English professor who is definitely a problematic one, as per ID. With a minimum of five murders each season, season four might stick to the average body count of five, if not more.
