The two main characters are now well-known actors in Hollywood. They have abandoned the roles of teenagers tortured by love - and vampire problems - to take on much more serious roles.
Kristen Stewart has starred in other successful films, such as Snow White and the Huntsman, but also in the Personal Shopper drama, and Sils Maria. And although the fantasy saga was well known to the general public, it didn't only have its good sides. The actress told Elle magazine that she had suffered panic attacks and intense stress during this period.
Far from teen movies
Her onscreen partner - who has also been on screen now for several years - also managed to bounce back after the saga ended. He notably had the main role in the film Bel Ami, but also starred in The Lost City of Z, Cosmopolis and many other successful films. He might even be wearing the Batman costume soon.
Mackenzie Foy, who played Renesmée, Bella and Jacob's daughter, has evolved a lot! She got a role in the hit film Interstellar, and then got the lead role in The Nutcracker and The Four Realms.
