Five long weeks into Love Island, the UK’s most-watched reality TV show, and one couple managed to make it through four weeks of a happy “half-relationship” but things rapidly turned sour.

Amy Hart, a 26-year-old air hostess, immediately coupled up with ballroom dancer, Curtis Pritchard, however the addition of Casa Amor lead “good-guy” Curtis’ head to be turned within days and since then, turmoil ensued.

The past week has seen Amy scowl at her former flame, analysing his every move and even attempted to blame Maura for their split saying, “A lot of stuff makes sense to me now. You were one of the most vocal that he didn’t deserve a second chance.”

Over the previous two nights’ episodes, Danny and Jourdan were sent packing by the public while the islanders had the power to dump the next couple from the villa. Ultimately, Amy was saved and her expression illustrated noticeable relief.

In conversations with the other girls this week, Amy said she was ready for her new Prince Charming to enter the villa therefor her exit speech with Curtis just doesn’t tally up; “Realistically for me, I’m not going to be ready in the next three weeks to meet someone else. Realistically for you, you will not be happy all the time here because you’ll always put me first because you’re such a good person. That’s why I love you so much and that’s why I want you to be happy.”
