The lad she didn’t choose was set to be dumped from the villa so it was a pretty heavy-pressure situation on her first day.

Plus, Brad and Chuggs weren’t actually the boys Rachel had been most interested in prior to entering the villa. In her pre-show interviews, she identified Hugo, Aaron and Toby as the boys she was potentially interested in pursuing. So who would she have coupled up with if she’d have her pick of the lads?
Who did Rachel want to couple up with?
Appearing on Aftersun, Rachel revealed:
Controversial, but I would have gone for Aaron... Aaron and I had some great chats but it was more of a friendship thing and for me personally, Sharon would have always come first and that's why it would have never went further than it did.
Of course, Sharon and Aaron’s relationship went on to crumble anyway, and Sharon was left single after Sunday’s recoupling, leaving her dumped from the villa. Aaron decided to couple up with Kaz as a friendship couple again after new boy Danny chose to couple up with Lucinda.
Does Rachel regret Love Island?
Despite not finding love in the villa, Rachel set the record straight with her followers in a recent Instagram Q&A, telling fans:
Despite people thinking I was crying and in love, remember things are edited and you only see bits and pieces. I'd say my biggest regret is not grafting enough with other people—despite what you all may think.
