Shannon Singh speaks out about getting dumped
Chatting with Laura Whitmore on After Sun, Shannon admitted that none of the boys in the villa were her type. On being dumped so soon, she said:
I’m a bit mortified. I didn’t gel with anyone. Chloe’s came in and she’s got a job to do. Saying goodbye was really sad even though it’s been two days. It’s so intense that you do gel with people really quick.

When Laura asked if she thought anyone was playing a game in the villa, Shannon said:
I think some people are playing up to the cameras... I mean, I do think Chloe is playing tactics and I think some people are playing it—it's quite crystal clear. But it is a game show so it’s to be expected.
Despite Chloe being unwittingly responsible for her early exit from the show, Shannon was keen to point out that she has ‘no ill will’ against her. Shannon previously spoke out on social media and in interviews to condemn the abuse and trolling Chloe had received on Instagram following her exit.
Although she had the earliest exit in Love Island history, Shannon is currently the most popular 2021 Islander on Instagram. She already had 153,000 followers before entering the villa and her follower count has now climbed to an impressive 369,000—over twice as many as Brad McLelland, the next most popular 2021 Islander on Instagram.
