Originally airing from 1984 to 1996, Spitting Image took swipes at everyone from Margaret Thatcher, Tony Blair and the Queen to Paul Gascoigne, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Jackson.
This time around, Spitting Image is set to lampoon the biggest names in the UK and around the world today - with puppets of Harry and Meghan, Trump and Putin, Kanye West, Mark Zuckerberg, Boris Johnson and Dominic Cummings all confirmed to be appearing.
Executive producer Roger Law, who co-creator the original series announced:
'Public service satire announcement. I've refused to resuscitate Spitting Image for years but when my pension ran out and my palm was crossed with silver what could an old man do?'
He continued:
'The new Spitting Image will be global through a uniquely British eye, it will be more outrageous, audacious and salacious than the previous incarnation. With scandalous scripts and A-list characters, it will be the people's programme!'
