After a staff member shared a photo of the backstage pass online, fears over the security of all present at the show have risen rapidly.
Strictly Come Dancing faces a major security breach
According to Mirror, a crew member posted a photo online that clearly showed what the passes look like which has sparked panic behind the scenes of the hit BBC show. The show bosses are concerned that overzealous fans or even those with an ulterior motive could get close to the celebrities and stars of Strictly 2023.
A source said:
This was a huge security blunder. Having what the passes look like out there puts the celebrities at massive risk.
They added:
Anyone could copy a pass and get access to the production putting the stars at potential risk of harm. It’s a massive security breach.

What happens now?
The security blunder has put stars like Bobby Brazier, Zara McDermott and veteran broadcaster Angela Rippon amongst others at risk. Strictly Come Dancing’sstudio in Elstree, North London and when the show transfers to Blackpool for the traditional ballroom live episode - both pose a massive security risk.
A show representative refused to comment on the security breach and even refused to disclose if the passes will now be redesigned ahead of the live show on Saturday to minimise the risk.
